National Bonsai and Penjing Collection of Australia

Become Involved

Become a VOLUNTEER

The Collection needs the services of a range of volunteers.  Some of the many things volunteers do are:

  • Oversee visitors to the Collection

  • Present talks or classes

  • Assist with basic maintenance (under supervision of the Curator)

  • Provide specialist horticultural and artistic support for the bonsai identified by the Curator

Give FINANCIAL SUPPORT

A special trust fund has been set up for donations specifically made to the NBPCA so that they can only be used for the NBPCA. Potential donors should contact the Bonsai Management Committee on how to make donations.  Work is in progress to register the Trust fund for tax exempt status, which may be attractive to some donors.  Cheques should be made out to "CIAG Bonsai Trust Fund" and sent to:

Become a FRIEND of the collection

It is intended that a "bonsai Friends" sub-group may be formed under the auspices of the Friends of the Canberra International Arboretum and Gardens, when sufficient interest is shown.
