Where Are We The NBPCA's temporary location is in Commonwealth Park, Canberra. The temporary location, in the yard of the former caretakers cottage, is intended to be the home for the NBPCA for up to five years; The Collection opened in September 2008 in a temporary location within Commonwealth Park, which is located between Lake Burley Griffin and Civic. Access is via Albert Street near the northern end of the Commonwealth Avenue Bridge. It is located in an architect-designed garden on the old caretakers cottage site immediately to the west of State 88 and a of couple hundred metres from the Regatta Point display area.
