Where Are We The NBPCAís temporary location is in Commonwealth Park, Canberra. The temporary location, in the yard of the former caretakersí cottage, is intended to be the home for the NBPCA for up to five years; after which it will move to a permanent site as part of the Canberra International Arboretum and Gardens which is now being developed on the western side of Lake Burley Griffin. NEWS UPDATE on the Commonwealth Park SITE Commonwealth Park is part of the extensive parklands and gardens spanning some 115 hectares bounded by the northern shores of Lake Burley Griffin, Parkes Way, Commonwealth and Kings Avenues. The NBPCA is located near the Commonwealth Avenue end of Commonwealth Park. Parking is generally available onsite, except during peak times when major events are occurring in Commonwealth Park.
